ParentPay Limited, the UK market leader in online payments for schools, and the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children), have announced their partnership for the charity’s 2021 Number Day.
The partnership will support the fundraising efforts of thousands of schools and millions of families across the UK, by providing a secure and convenient alternative for managing large volumes of cash donations.
On Friday the 7th of May, thousands of teachers and pupils will be taking part in the NSPCC’s Number Day: a math-inspired school fundraiser designed to empower young children to improve their numeracy skills. Throughout Number Day, teachers will be hosting a variety of fun curriculum-based games and challenges for children to enjoy in their class bubbles. Pupils will also have the opportunity to ‘Dress up for Digits’ and make a cashless donation to wear non-uniform.
School donations made from Number Day will help the NSPCC work to prevent abuse, rebuild children’s lives, and support families through initiatives like ‘Speak Out Stay Safe’: a safeguarding programme that helps children to recognise the dangers of abuse and teaches them how to reach out for help.
Mark Brant, ParentPay Chief Executive Officer, said: ’We’re honoured to have the opportunity to support the NSPCC and its fundraising efforts through schools across the UK with our cashless payments system’.
Mark added: ‘At a time where so many children and young people are struggling, I have no doubt that ParentPay customers will appreciate this safe and simple way to show their support for the NSPCC’.

About NSPCC
The NSPCC is the UK’s leading children’s charity, preventing abuse and helping those affected to recover. Around 90 per cent of the NSPCC’s income comes from their supporters, including schools and parents. They simply couldn’t keep their vital services running without the support of people like you. Every pound we raise and donate will all add up to helping children.
The money you raise could also help to fund Childline, our 24/7 helpline for children to contact, whatever difficulty they’re facing.
