After an immensely challenging year which has seen food banks experience record levels of need, the ParentPay Sales team felt compelled to help their local communities in any way they could.
Despite the team residing in multiple locations across the UK, it has rallied round to make donations to support local food banks nationwide, as families face heightened challenges amid the global pandemic.
The food banks receiving these vital provisions include but are not limited to:
- Bridgnorth Food Bank
- Clevedon Food Bank
- Chelmsford Star
- Hessle Food Bank
- Holsworthy Food Bank
- Chepstow Food Bank
- Glasgow SE Food Bank (via The Trussell Trust)
- Smethwick Food Bank (via The Trussell Trust)
- Rochdale Food Bank
- Batley Food Bank
- Stratford-upon-Avon Food Bank
- Mission Christmas – Cash for Kids
- Herne Centre
- Mary’s Meals
- The Salvation Army
- Kitchen Social Broadstairs
- The Trussell Trust
- Harold Hill Food Bank
Alongside food items, the ParentPay team is also collecting cash donations for The Trussell Trust: a charity that supports a nationwide network of food banks, providing nutritionally-balanced emergency food to those most in need.
Mark Brant, CEO of the ParentPay Group, said:
In a year that has been so hard for so many, we are committed to doing whatever we can to support our local communities.
We’re proud to support such an important cause and do our bit to help those who are struggling in the tough winter months.
We encourage you to join us in donating, whether it be directly to your local food bank or via The Trussell Trust, to help brighten the lives of those who need our help the most this Christmas.
