ParentPay, the UK market leader in school payments, and Comic Relief have once again joined forces to help schools collect donations for Red Nose Day, which takes place on Friday the 18th March 2022.
Having started their partnership back in 2016, with the aim of providing a secure way to donate without the need for cash, ParentPay will continue to support Comic Relief and thousands of schools and parents around the UK as they raise money for this fantastic cause.
An impressive campaign in 2021 saw over half a million pounds collected for Red Nose Day via our secure school payment platform, and we are privileged to have the opportunity to continue this successful partnership in 2022, helping Comic Relief make a difference to vulnerable people throughout the UK and around the world.
Mark Brant, ParentPay Chief Executive, said: “Comic Relief plays a vital role in funding organisations working at ground level to help the most vulnerable people and communities.”
Mark added: “We’re proud to be able to help make a difference, as we support the fundraising efforts of schools and parents by utilising our cashless payments system, especially as people look to move away from collecting physical donations in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Michelle Bromhead, Red Nose Day, Schools Fundraising Manager, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Parent Pay again this year, offering schools a hassle-free cashless donation option. Whatever you and your pupils do, no matter how big or small, you’ll be helping people live free from poverty, violence, and discrimination. It’s really easy to get involved. Just pick a few fundraising ideas, round up your Red Nose Day team and go for it. Have fun!”
