We are thrilled to once again be working with BBC Children in Need to aid their fundraising efforts in 2024.
By providing schools across the UK with free access to a ParentPay Donations page, we’re hoping to help make it as simple as possible to fundraise for this year’s appeal, and support BBC Children in Need in their remarkable mission of making a positive difference in the lives of children across the UK.
Last year’s initiative saw school staff, pupils, parents, carers and more raise over half a million pounds through ParentPay, and we’re hoping to see just as much success again in 2024.
This year, BBC Children in Need are calling on schools across the UK to help support them by getting involved in Challenge Yourself! Encourage your students to take on challenges in groups, in forms, house groups or as a whole school to raise money for BBC Children in Need. Don’t forget to tune in on Friday 15th November, for brilliant programming to help support young people in communities like yours.
You can raise money through a variety of activities, including non-uniform days, sponsored challenges, baking challenges and more. A £5 donation pays for a food parcel for a young girl affected by poverty and mental health issues, ensuring she can access healthy food to improve her physical and emotional wellbeing.
If you’ve already applied for your free Donations Page to support BBC Children in Need, don’t forget to share the link to this page with your parents, carers, and anyone else that might like to donate. Whether you share this on your school’s social media channels, in a school newsletter, or by displaying a QR code in your school office, it’s important to make sure as many people as possible have access to help with your fundraising efforts.
