ParentPay are delighted to announce that we will once again be partnering with BBC Children in Need to support their 2022 fundraising activities.

With an incredible £700,000 collected during last year’s initiative, we’re proud to be able to be able to support them once again with their incredible mission.

“BBC Children in Need believes that every child and young person deserves the opportunity to thrive and be the best they can be. Our ambition is to create positive and lasting change across the UK for those who need us the most. With your support, we can help children and young people feel safer, improve their mental health, form more positive relationships, and have more opportunities to flourish.”

Get involved this year by throwing a SPOTacular BBC Children In Need Day! Students can take part by showing up to school looking spotty, playing spot-inspired games, and eating spotty cakes. Give what you can, every penny goes towards the children and young people who need it most.

This year, there’s also an extra SPOTacular event for Primary Schools. BBC Moodboosters is a SPOTacular new campaign from BBC Education and BBC Children in Need, launching on Appeal Day. Head to BBC Children in Need’s Primary Schools homepage at 12 pm on Appeal Day to join in with live-streamed activities that will boost pupils’ moods.

Secondary school students can also help make a difference to young people during the cost of living crisis by putting on a non-uniform day, a bake sale, or a SPOTacular challenge!

Claire Hoyle, Commercial Director at BBC Children in Need, commented: “Once again we are delighted to be working in partnership with ParentPay to help us support children and young people across the UK who are facing unimaginable challenges at this moment in time. We know that times are incredibly hard for everyone, and we are so grateful to schools and parents up and down the country who are supporting us once again through ParentPay where donations can be made easily and safely. Whether big or small, every donation makes a difference and we are enormously grateful to our supporters across the UK for their commitment to helping children and young people across the UK to thrive and be the best they can be.”

We want to make it as easy as possible to raise donations for BBC Children in Need 2022 through ParentPay, so we’re offering our Donations Page functionality for free for your school (terms apply). For more information visit our Children in Need page.
