ParentPay

At ParentPay, we strive to simplify education

We transform the way schools operate, enabling them to achieve more than ever before.

Together, we’re working to ensure every student has the support they need to succeed.

Our Story

ParentPay began as a modest EdTech startup determined to make school life simple. Our mission: to kickstart the cashless revolution in schools.

It all started in 2002, when a working parent and former teacher sought to help her school make life easier for parents. The solution? The UK’s first school online payments system. And with that, ParentPay was born.

Since that time, we’ve continued to champion progress and innovation in schools. And, with the cashless revolution well underway, we set ourselves a new challenge: to bridge the communication gap, bringing schools, students, and parents together.

Today, we’re proud to have helped over 11,000 schools across the UK streamline their operations and improve their parental engagement.

Who We Support

We’re proud to have joined forces with a number of charity organisations who align with our values.

Comic Relief

Comic Relief raises millions of pounds to tackle the root causes of poverty and inequality in the UK and around the world.

ParentPay has partnered with Comic Relief since 2016, allowing thousands of schools and parents to donate securely to this fantastic cause. Red Nose Day 2021 saw over half a million pounds in donations collected through our school payments platform.

Boat of Hope

Bernie Hollywood OBE, philanthropist and adventurer is on a mission to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean as part of the Talisker Whiskey Challenge. He has two aims: to raise £1 million for the Samaritans, and to create a better awareness for children’s mental health issues.

We understand the scale of the challenge when it comes to improving mental health support for young people, and the added pressure brought on by the pandemic, so we’re proud to be the Boat of Hope campaign’s principal partner. We’re providing financial and logistical support, as well as reaching out through schools to spread the word.

His journey begins with a tour of schools around the country, touching lives and bringing inspiration to thousands, before his Boat of Hope even touches the water.

NSPCC

Founded over 130 years ago, the NSPCC is the UK’s leading children’s charity.

Its guiding principle is that every childhood is worth fighting for. The NSPCC does vital work to prevent abuse and support children and families, including providing therapeutic services and helplines, working with schools and conducting research and campaigns.

BBC Children In Need

BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s charity, dedicated to helping ensure every child in the UK is safe, happy, and secure, with the opportunities they need to reach their potential.

We’re one of Children in Need’s official partners, working with them to collect money from the schools raising money for this incredible cause. In 2020 alone we collected half a million pounds from schools.

BBC Children in Need, Pudsey Bear and Blush are trade marks of the BBC and are used under licence.
